A milestone of profound personal significance, and an even greater reminder of the responsibility that comes with being entrusted to shape education.
I am deeply honoured to have been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Education at a ceremony held at the House of Lords, Palace of Westminster, London, with the honour presented by Lord Daniel Brennan KC in recognition of my services to education.
My academic journey in the United Kingdom has been central to shaping my perspective as an educator and institutional leader. Beginning with a Foundation Year in Business Administration at City, University of London, followed by a BSc in Economics from King’s College London, and a Master’s in Education from University College London (UCL), I have had the privilege of learning within institutions that challenged me to think critically about education, economics, leadership and the role institutions play in shaping society.
Today, as Managing Director of Happy Palace Group of Schools & Colleges, those experiences carry a very different meaning. Education, to me, is no longer simply an academic discipline; it is a national responsibility.
To receive this distinction within the UK Parliament is an extraordinary honour and undoubtedly one of the most memorable moments of my life. Yet I see it less as a culmination of what has been achieved and more as an encouragement for what must still be accomplished.
Pakistan possesses extraordinary intellectual potential. Our responsibility as educators is to create institutions capable of discovering that potential, nurturing it with knowledge and values, and giving young people the confidence to compete globally while remaining committed to the progress of their own country.
My aspiration remains to contribute meaningfully to the evolution of education in Pakistan—by strengthening institutions, investing in educators, embracing innovation, raising academic standards and creating learning environments that prepare students not simply to succeed in examinations, but to think independently, lead responsibly and contribute purposefully to society.
I accept this recognition with gratitude to my family, mentors, colleagues, educators and the entire Happy Palace community who continue to be part of this journey.
An honour I will always cherish, but more importantly, a responsibility I intend to honour through the work that follows. The journey continues—with greater purpose, greater responsibility and an unwavering commitment to education and to Pakistan.

Receiving the Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) in Education is an honour that I accept with profound gratitude and an even greater sense of responsibility. While this recognition bears my name, it truly belongs to every teacher who has dedicated their life to shaping young minds, every parent who has entrusted us with their greatest treasure, and every student whose aspirations continue to inspire our mission.
For more than four decades, Happy Palace Group of Schools & Colleges has stood as a symbol of educational excellence, nurturing generations of learners who have gone on to serve Pakistan and the world with distinction. It is a privilege to carry forward this legacy and to continue strengthening an institution founded on the belief that quality education is the cornerstone of national progress.
This recognition renews my commitment to innovation without compromising values, to excellence without losing compassion, and to ensuring that every child is equipped not only with knowledge, but with the character, confidence and vision to lead in an ever-changing world.
